Bybloemen is one year old today! This comic has been in the making since 2015, so I'm very grateful to Hiveworks for giving it a home and the room to be unapologetically weird and ambitious in its storytelling. Thank you for taking a chance on a project that was pitched as "screwtape letters meets late stage capitalism with tulips, slapstick, and janky woodcuts" and being so supportive along the way.

To all of you who have been following this story from the beginning, and to those of you who have just started reading, thank you for making this project possible! If all this comic does is brighten up your Friday mornings a little, then I feel like it's done its job.

Here's to another year of silly hats, 17th century snake oil salesmen, Calvinists going hog wild over tulips, and (mostly) sincere deconstructions of fairy tale tropes.
